In a twist of fate, Cassidy’s seat on the way home was 1D.

She appeared to be in a good mood about her return to the states, saying she was “happy” and “relieved” to be back in Florida.

As of this post, she has not addressed his death, nor has anyone revealed why he stayed behind in Buenos Aires. The couple traveled to the city capital earlier this month to support Payne’s former One Direction bandmate Niall Horan at his concert

The singer was first linked to the social media influencer in Oct. 2022. They made their red carpet debut as a couple in Jan. 2023.
